Overview

The Adal Engine is a next-generation engine framework using "Components Off the Shelf" architecture utilizing a variety of powerful open-source SDK's. It is designed for maximum modularity and extensibility. This makes the engine constantly up-to-date and as current as the technology it uses. This also means that "components" can be replaced as they grow obsolete or better alternatives are available. Finally, the engine can use a variety of open-source toolsets available for the specific componets, which offers the same modularity and flexibility inherent in the "COTS" design.

Blood and Iron is a tech demo/game designed to show off the Adal Engine. You can download all the artwork and assets from www.robg3d.com.

The Adal Engine is designed, built, and maintained by Aldo Fanelli, and Blood and Iron was designed and created by Rob Galankis.
